Although atmospheric science is at the core of assessing marine cloud brightening proposals, at least on the technical side, other disciplines including technology, ecology, the social sciences, and ethics are needed to understand the full picture. My group is interested in conducting cutting-edge research that combines insights from multiple disciplines and in meaningful engagement with the public and decision-makers to ensure our work is responsive to societal needs.
